Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) establishes the rules, restrictions and standards governing lawful and proper use of the iDrive2 mobile application, public landing page, Advertiser Portal, Admin Portal, other authorised browser-based Platform environments, and related Platform services (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Policy is intended to:
- Protect Platform integrity, security and lawful operation;
- Prohibit fraud, abuse, intentional circumvention of applicable Platform controls, misuse and harmful conduct;
- Define prohibited behaviour by users interacting with the Platform;
- Support fair, transparent and compliant marketplace operation; and
-
Provide a basis for administrative review, enforcement action, suspension, restriction or termination where misuse occurs. This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including:
-
Learners;
- Instructors;
- Advertisers;
- Admin Users;
- Super Admin Users;
- Other authorised portal users, where applicable; and
- Any other person or entity accessing, using, interacting with, or submitting content or data through the Platform. This Policy operates together with the Learner Terms & Conditions, Instructor Terms & Conditions, Safety & Conduct Policy, Privacy Notice, Cancellation & No-Show Policy, Refund Policy, Dispute Resolution Policy, Advertising Disclosure Policy and any other applicable public-facing Platform policy, contractual term or Platform rule.
iDrive2 also maintains internal data-governance, access-control, security, retention and compliance procedures supporting lawful Platform administration and enforcement.
Nothing in this Policy expands the role of iDrive2 beyond that of a digital marketplace platform.
2. General Use Principle
The Platform may be used only for lawful, genuine, authorized, and good-faith purposes connected with the services, functions, and workflows made available by iDrive2.
All users must:
- Comply with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain;
- Use the Platform honestly, respectfully, and in good faith;
- Provide accurate and current information where required;
- Avoid misuse, intentional circumvention of applicable Platform controls, manipulation or interference with the Platform; and
- Refrain from conduct that exposes users, the Platform, or iDrive2 to legal, regulatory, security, operational, reputational, or commercial risk. Use of the Platform for deceptive, abusive, unlawful, unauthorized, exploitative, or bad-faith purposes is strictly prohibited.
3. Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in, attempt, facilitate, assist, or encourage any of the following:
4. Fraud, False Information, And Misrepresentation
Users must not:
- Provide false, incomplete, misleading, or deceptive registration information;
- Upload altered, forged, manipulated, expired, stolen, or unlawfully obtained documents;
- Misrepresent identity, age, authority, role, qualifications, license status, insurance status, verification status, pricing, service availability, or other material facts;
- Impersonate another person, business, or account holder;
- Use another person’s account, credentials, verification data, or payment instrument without authorization;
- Create duplicate, replacement, or linked accounts to evade restriction, suspension, termination, payment obligations, verification controls, or enforcement outcomes; or
- Submit false claims, false complaints, false dispute evidence, or false refund requests. Document fraud, identity fraud, verification fraud, or repeated deception may result in immediate suspension, permanent termination, preservation of evidence, and reporting to competent authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary.
5. Platform Circumvention And Misuse Of Off-Platform Channels
Users must not:
Learners and Instructors may make private arrangements for the payment and settlement of driving-lesson fees outside iDrive2, as contemplated by the applicable Learner and Instructor Terms. Such private lesson-fee arrangements do not, by themselves, constitute circumvention of the Platform.
Users must not, however:
- Use off-Platform channels for the purpose of evading subscription requirements, booking controls, contact-access restrictions, account restrictions, moderation, safety controls or enforcement measures;
- Share contact details, external links, QR codes, social-media details or similar information before such sharing is permitted by the applicable Platform workflow, where the purpose is to bypass Platform access or subscription controls;
- Misrepresent or manipulate booking activity in order to avoid Platform records, booking classifications or applicable account controls;
- Circumvent charges payable to iDrive2 for subscriptions, advertising, sponsored visibility, promotional services or other paid Platform services;
- Use off-Platform arrangements to avoid advertising approval, promotional restrictions, moderation or enforcement requirements; or
- Otherwise intentionally, bypass technical, access, security, subscription, booking, advertising or enforcement controls imposed by the Platform. For clarity, payment of driving-lesson fees directly between a Learner and an Instructor outside the Platform does not constitute circumvention merely because the parties first discovered or contacted one another through iDrive2.
Where an off-Platform arrangement is used for the purpose of evading an applicable iDrive2 subscription, advertising charge, access restriction, booking control, moderation requirement or enforcement measure, iDrive2 may treat that conduct as circumvention.
Circumvention of applicable Platform controls may constitute a material breach of this Policy and the applicable Terms.
6. Booking, Availability, And Workflow Abuse
Users must not:
- Create bookings, requests, or confirmations without genuine intent to attend or perform;
- Intentionally create false demand, fake activity, or artificial utilization;
- Repeatedly cancel, reschedule, reject, ignore, or abandon bookings in a manner that abuses the Platform or distorts marketplace activity;
- Manipulate cancellation or no-show logic;
- Intentionally trigger expiry, lateness, or no-show outcomes to affect ranking, metrics, booking classifications, account restrictions, dispute outcomes or Platform standing;
- Accept bookings without genuine intent or ability to provide the relevant service;
- Misuse dispute channels to reverse legitimate booking classifications without good-faith grounds; or
- Interfere with or misuse scheduling, availability, or booking workflows. Repeated, patterned, or strategically manipulative booking behavior may trigger rule-based detection, administrative review, visibility restriction, booking limitation, or suspension.
7. Harassment, Abuse, And Improper Conduct On The Platform
Users must not:
- Harass, abuse, intimidate, threaten, stalk, or coerce any other user;
- Use discriminatory, offensive, hateful, sexually suggestive, threatening, humiliating, or otherwise inappropriate language;
- Make improper personal, romantic, sexual, extortionate, or exploitative requests;
- Engage in blackmail, retaliation, defamation, or persistent unwanted contact; or
- Use the Platform to facilitate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate conduct. Conduct involving personal safety, professional boundaries, discrimination, harassment, or lesson-related behavioral risk may also be addressed under the Safety & Conduct Policy.
8. Security Violations And Technical Abuse
Users must not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, admin interface, API, database, or restricted platform area;
- Probe, test, scan, exploit, or attempt to discover vulnerabilities, credentials, tokens, sessions, configuration weaknesses, or access controls without express written authorization;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, or attempt to derive source code, business logic, ranking logic, pricing logic, or configuration logic, except to the extent non-excludable by law;
- Interfere with, overload, degrade, disrupt, corrupt, disable, or impair Platform functionality, performance, integrity, or availability;
- Introduce malware, malicious code, harmful scripts, hostile automation, or unsafe links;
- Use bots, automated scripts, scraping tools, crawlers, headless systems, emulators, or other automation to access, extract, replicate, monitor, or manipulate Platform data or functions without authorization;
- Circumvent feature flags, release controls, permissions, throttling, geo-controls, access limitations, or configuration restrictions; or
- Attempt to manipulate ranking, review systems, analytics, security controls, fraud controls, moderation systems, or system-generated outcomes. Security-related misuse may result in immediate restriction or termination, forensic preservation, legal escalation, and cooperation with law enforcement or cybersecurity authorities where appropriate.
9. Illegal, Unsafe, Or Non-Compliant Activity
Users must not use the Platform in connection with:
- Unlawful conduct;
- Criminal conduct;
- Commercial activity that is unlawful or not permitted under the applicable Platform functionality or Terms;
- Provision of driving instruction without required license, approval, or legal eligibility;
- Use of uninsured, unlawfully operated, or non-compliant vehicles where legal compliance is required;
- Violation of applicable traffic laws or regulatory requirements;
- Unlawful discrimination;
- Unlawful surveillance or recording;
- Infringement of privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or publicity rights; or
- Any activity contrary to public policy, mandatory law, or competent authority direction in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
10. Advertising, Promotional, And Commercial Misuse
Advertisers and Instructors using paid visibility or promotional features must not:
- Upload misleading, deceptive, unlawful, or non-compliant advertising content;
- Imply regulatory approval, governmental affiliation, GDT endorsement, or platform certification where none exists;
- Falsify pass rates, outcomes, pricing, offers, discounts, service claims, eligibility, or campaign metrics;
- Use deceptive calls-to-action, hidden terms, bait advertising, misleading creative, or materially incomplete promotional claims;
- Misrepresent sponsored status, ranking status, featured status, or visibility entitlements;
- Submit creatives or campaign materials they do not have the right to use; or
- Use advertising products in a way inconsistent with Platform rules, approval conditions, or campaign limitations. Advertising and promotional conduct remains subject to approval, moderation, restriction, suspension, or removal under the Advertising Disclosure Policy and related commercial controls.
11. Data Misuse And Privacy Abuse
Users must not:
- Scrape, harvest, mine, extract, export, copy, or compile Platform data without authorization;
- Collect, use, retain, disclose, sell, or transfer personal data obtained through the Platform except as lawfully permitted and strictly necessary for the authorized Platform purpose;
- Use personal data for unsolicited marketing, spam, off-platform solicitation, or unrelated commercial exploitation;
- Attempt to reveal, correlate, reconstruct, or misuse masked, restricted, or role-limited data;
- Access restricted or higher-risk personal data without authorisation;
- Misuse contact details, booking information, communications, identity documents, or verification materials;
- Process Platform-sourced personal data in breach of applicable privacy or data protection law. Unauthorized data harvesting, misuse of personal data, or misuse of restricted information may trigger immediate enforcement action and legal escalation.
12. Ratings, Reviews, And Reputation Manipulation
Users must not:
- Submit false, fabricated, retaliatory, defamatory, misleading, or bad-faith ratings or reviews;
- Coordinate review manipulation;
- Create self-reviews, proxy reviews, or reciprocal review arrangements;
- Offer, request, or accept incentives in exchange for ratings or favorable feedback;
- Threaten negative reviews to extract concessions, refunds, benefits, or private arrangements; or
- Otherwise interfere with fair review integrity. Ratings and review abuse may result in content removal, ranking adjustment, suspension of review privileges, account restrictions, or broader enforcement action.
13. Payment, Subscription, Refund, And Chargeback Abuse
This section applies only to subscriptions, advertising, sponsored visibility, promotional services and other payments made directly to iDrive2. It does not govern private lesson-fee payments between Learners and Instructors.
Users must not:
- Use stolen, unauthorized, or misrepresented payment methods;
- Manipulate subscription entitlements, promotional access, refunds, courtesy cancellations, or billing flows;
- Submit duplicate, false, abusive, or bad-faith refund claims;
- Initiate fraudulent, abusive, or materially misrepresented chargebacks or payment disputes;
- Attempt to obtain Platform access, promotional visibility, or other benefits without valid payment; or
- Exploit payment failures, timing gaps, promotional logic, or billing errors in bad faith. Fraudulent payment disputes, subscription abuse, or promotional payment circumvention may result in immediate suspension, service pause, recovery action, or permanent termination.
14. Content Misuse And Unlawful Material
Users must not upload, submit, publish, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Platform any content that:
- Is false, misleading, unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, obscene, discriminatory, or threatening;
- Infringes intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights;
- Contains malware, malicious code, harmful links, or unsafe attachments;
- Promotes unlawful acts, unsafe driving, criminal conduct, or regulatory non-compliance;
- Impersonates another person or falsely implies affiliation, approval, or endorsement; or
- Is otherwise incompatible with Platform integrity, safety, lawful operation, or the commercial purpose of the Platform.
15. Document Authenticity And Account Integrity
Where the Platform requires document submission, profile verification, or account eligibility confirmation, users must ensure that all submitted information and materials are genuine, valid, current, accurate, complete, and lawfully obtained.
Uploading false, forged, manipulated, expired, inconsistent, or unverifiable documentation may result in:
- Rejection of submission;
- Temporary suspension;
- Restriction of account activity;
- Permanent termination;
- Preservation of records for audit, fraud prevention, or evidentiary purposes; and
- Reporting to competent authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary.
16. Platform Monitoring And Detection
To protect platform integrity, security, user safety, and compliance, iDrive2 may use manual and rule-based controls to detect, review, flag, or investigate suspected misuse.
This may include detection of:
- Excessive cancellations or no-shows;
- Duplicate or linked accounts;
- Suspicious registration or verification behavior;
- Unusual login patterns or authentication anomalies;
- Abnormal booking or messaging patterns;
- Suspected review manipulation;
- Suspicious payment, refund or chargeback activity relating to payments made directly to iDrive2;
- Scraping or automated access behavior;
- Suspicious advertising activity;
- Abnormal admin or privileged access activity; and
- Indicators of misuse, fraud, abuse, security risk or intentional circumvention of applicable Platform controls. System flags, monitoring outputs, and automated indicators are administrative risk tools only. Final enforcement decisions may be made by authorized personnel following such review as iDrive2 considers appropriate in the circumstances.
iDrive2 is not required to disclose internal detection methods, fraud rules, security logic, thresholds, or investigative techniques.
17. Administrative Review And Interim Measures
Where suspected misuse, fraud, abuse, policy breach, legal risk, safety concern, risk associated with payments made directly to iDrive2, or security concern arises, iDrive2 may conduct an administrative review using such information as is reasonably relevant and available, including system logs, booking records, account history, uploaded materials, transaction records relating to payments made directly to iDrive2, communications, dispute records, complaint records, and user-submitted evidence.
Pending review, iDrive2 may apply proportionate interim measures including:
- Temporary account restriction;
- Temporary suspension;
- Booking limitation;
- Messaging limitation;
- Visibility reduction;
- Temporary restriction or removal of promotional benefits;
- Campaign pause or freeze;
- Listing removal;
- Temporary hold on processing an iDrive2 refund while eligibility or suspected abuse is under review;
- Temporary lock of affected functionality. Interim measures are precautionary only and do not by themselves establish fault, liability, or final breach determination.
18. Enforcement
Where iDrive2 reasonably determines that a user has breached this Policy, attempted to breach this Policy, or created unacceptable legal, regulatory, safety, security, operational, reputational, or commercial risk, iDrive2 may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a warning;
- Require clarification, correction, or updated information;
- Reject submitted documents, content, or advertising materials;
- Remove content, reviews, listings, or promotional materials;
- Reduce profile visibility or ranking-related exposure;
- Remove Sponsored Listings, advertising campaigns or other promotional visibility;
- Restrict messaging, booking, iDrive2 billing/payment, advertising or account functionality;
- Downgrade or remove subscription-related or promotional benefits;
- Pause or terminate campaigns;
- Suspend or terminate account access;
- Preserve records and evidence;
- Deny re-registration;
- Refer the matter for review under another applicable policy; and/or
- Report the matter to law enforcement, regulators, payment providers, app stores, insurers, or other competent authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary. Enforcement action may be based on severity, repetition, credibility of evidence, account history, documented risk indicators, system records, risk associated with payments made directly to iDrive2, Platform integrity concerns, public interest, or legal obligations.
19. No Circumvention Of Enforcement Or Platform Controls
Users must not attempt to evade, defeat, reverse, or undermine any Platform control, enforcement action, monitoring logic, eligibility rule, dispute workflow, iDrive2 billing rule, visibility control, suspension measure, or other administrative safeguard.
This includes attempts to:
- Create substitute or linked accounts after restriction;
- Use third parties to regain access or continue prohibited conduct;
- Evade amounts lawfully payable directly to iDrive2, including subscription, advertising, sponsored-visibility or other Platform-service charges;
- Evade advertising approval requirements, promotional rules or applicable Platform access controls;
- Bypass technical restrictions or account-level limitations;
- Manipulate time windows, thresholds, or Platform configuration behaviour; or
- Interfere with evidence preservation, moderation, review, or enforcement processes.
- Circumvention of enforcement measures shall constitute a separate and material breach of this Policy. For clarity, private payment of driving-lesson fees directly between a Learner and an Instructor does not constitute circumvention of an iDrive2 billing rule or payment obligation.
20. Interaction With Other Policies
Conduct falling within the scope of another applicable Platform policy may also be addressed under that policy, including:
- Safety & Conduct Policy for safety, harassment, professional boundaries, and misconduct;
- Advertising Disclosure Policy for promotional content, ad approvals, and advertising restrictions;
- Refund Policy for refund eligibility and chargeback-related review relating to payments made directly to iDrive2;
- Cancellation & No-Show Policy for booking classifications and threshold-based actions;
- Dispute Resolution Policy for internal review of disputed actions or classifications; and
- Privacy Notice for the collection, use, sharing and protection of personal data, together with applicable internal data-governance, security and retention controls. iDrive2 may also apply the relevant Learner Terms & Conditions or Instructor Terms & Conditions where the conduct affects contractual rights, obligations, account access or Platform use.
Nothing in this Policy limits iDrive2’s right to rely on more than one applicable policy or contractual term where the facts justify doing so.
21. User Responsibility
Each user is responsible for:
- Their conduct on and through the Platform;
- The accuracy and legality of the information, content, claims, documents, and materials they submit;
- Compliance with applicable law;
- Safeguarding their credentials and account access;
- Lawful use of personal data obtained through the Platform; and
- Consequences arising from their own misuse of the Platform, to the extent provided by applicable law and the applicable Terms. Nothing in this section removes or reduces any responsibility that iDrive2 itself has under applicable law, the Privacy Notice, the applicable Terms or its own Platform obligations
22. Platform Role
iDrive2 provides a digital marketplace platform only. iDrive2 is not a driving school, does not provide driving instruction, does not employ or supervise independent Instructors, does not become a party to private lesson arrangements between Learners and Instructors merely by facilitating Platform functionality, and does not process or control private lesson fees between Learners and Instructors.
iDrive2 does not control, supervise, direct or guarantee independent user conduct, lesson delivery, driving outcomes, commercial success or legal compliance by independent users.
The allocation and limitation of liability between iDrive2 and a user is governed by the applicable Learner Terms & Conditions, Instructor Terms & Conditions or other applicable contractual terms, as relevant.
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or limits any non-waivable rights under the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
23. Governing Law And Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain shall have jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights or mandatory legal provisions applicable to the user.
24. Contact
Any questions, complaints, or claims relating to the Platform or Mobile App may be directed to:
Email:
Submission of an inquiry or complaint through the above contact channel does not constitute formal legal notice, service of process, or initiation of legal proceedings. Formal legal notices must be served in accordance with applicable law to:
Condor Gulf Technologies, Kingdom of Bahrain
iDrive2 will review and respond to inquiries within a reasonable timeframe; however, response times may vary depending on the nature and complexity of the matter.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
25. Policy Updates
iDrive2 may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, business operations, service features, legal or regulatory requirements, or operational practices.
Where required by applicable law or where iDrive2 considers the update to be material, iDrive2 will provide reasonable prior notice through one or more appropriate channels, which may include in-app notification, publication on the public landing page, account notice, or email communication, where applicable.
Updated versions of this Policy shall become effective on the effective date stated in the revised version, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Any update shall apply prospectively only and shall not retroactively affect rights, obligations, completed transactions, or concluded matters prior to the effective date, unless required by applicable law.
Where a material update introduces or materially changes user obligations, prohibited conduct or enforcement consequences, iDrive2 may require the affected user to acknowledge the updated Policy or accept the revised applicable Terms before continued access to relevant Platform functionality.
Continued access to or use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any separate acknowledgement or re-acceptance requirement imposed by iDrive2 or applicable law.
If a user does not agree to an updated Policy, the user must discontinue use of the affected Platform services or functionality before the update takes effect.
